This was taken in Houston, Texas, by a relative's home. Swaying back and forth on the swing set, I experienced (the freedom of) being a kid again. I really needed that moment. I'm learning that the smaller (simpler) things in life start to add up. Moral of the story: take any opportunity to swing on swings!

One of my go-to spots for cheap eats is Manpuku, a Japanese restaurant across from OCAD University in Toronto. I almost always order the curry udon. One day after enjoying my meal I encountered this van right outside of the university. It made me chuckle, thinking about how “yikes” school truly is sometimes.

I was hungry one day walking around Bloor-Younge in Toronto which is kind of a pricier area. I stumbled across a Mediterranean restaurant, and fell in love with the design of the place. That was enough for me to come in and order, to this day I remember the cocktail. It was a great solo self date.
